New Home Care Packages

Bolton Clarke has welcomed the government’s early release of 20,000 Home Care Packages this week to help reduce waitlists and provide more certainty to people waiting in the queue for support.

"This decision, and the promise of a further 20,000 packages later this year, will make a genuine difference in the lives of thousands of Australians who need assistance to stay independent and live positively at home," said Chief Operating Officer Home and Community Support Deidre McGill.

"Our experienced teams in Victoria, Queensland, NSW and Western Australia are well-prepared and ready to meet the needs of local communities as we have been doing for 140 years with nursing, home support, specialised care such as dementia support and allied health services.

"We look forward to continuing to work with the government towards its target of reducing wait times to three months by July 2027."
